Dance Camp
Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM, Ages 4-10, $375/wk
At Dance Camp dancers will have a blast moving and grooving to a variety of dance techniques from jazz to hip hop to lyrical and contemporary and more! Dancers will enjoy a mix of performing arts activities like acting, costume & set design, choreography creations, and even stage makeup! Each week we invite you to join us on a fun, new theme to explore in the world of dance! Finding their own unique voice and source of inspiration, each camper will create their own presentation with friends to showcase to each other at the end of each week. Each day campers will swim with a certified lifeguard or play outside with water games and water balloons, so don't forget your swimsuits and towels! Dance Camp is an exciting way to keep moving this summer, so come Dance your heart out with us at MC Dance Miami!
Sample Dance Camp Daily Itinerary:
9:00AM Drop-off
9AM-10AM: Dancers will begin their day with dance games and student-based projects like choreography creations or Pool time with certified lifeguards.
10AM-10:15AM: Snack
10:15AM-11:00AM: Dance Class (rotating each day between jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, or ballroom styles).
11:00AM-12:00PM: Ballet or Technique class
12:00-12:30PM Lunch
12:30-1:00PM Outdoor Water Fun & Games or dance arts & crafts
1:00PM-2:00PM Behind the Scenes exploration: Choreography/Team building, Stage makeup, prop building, costume creations
2:00PM-3:00PM Dance Class (rotating each day between jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, or ballroom styles).
3:00PM Pick-Up

Dance Intensives
Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM, Ages 8-18, $375/wk
Dance Intensives are designed for the advanced Dancer to continue building upon technique, strength, and flexibility at an accelerated pace. Instructors will work to strengthen each dancer to their fullest technical and artistic potential. Each class will optimize each specific dancer’s skill level, providing the highest level of professional and curated training unique to the individual. Each day will begin with a classical ballet class and optional pointe work. Dancers will rotate between a variety of dance styles throughout the day including Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballroom, and Strength & Conditioning. Dancers will have time to explore improvisation techniques, comprehension of phrase work, musicality, and choreography development. Dance Intensives are a fun way for dancers to take their dance training to the next level, optimizing strength, flexibility, and creativity, while advancing turns, leaps, and tricks, and staying en pointe through the summer ready to take on their next season even stronger!

Week 3:
July 29-August 2 (Tricks & Technique)
Week 4:
August 5-August 9 (Solos/Duos/Trios)

Competition Team & Company Choreography Week
June 10th-June 14th, 9AM-3PM, $425 Competition Team & Company-level Dancers only- Mandatory
All Competition Team and Company Level Dancers will have one full week this summer designated just for them to learn their new season's choreography and begin working together to gain an edge on the season ahead! This will be an amazing opportunity and mandatory for all of our Company Level and Competition Team Dancers to attend. Dancers will rotate between rooms, teachers, and choreographers to get a head start on the new season in both group dances and solo/duet choreography for the upcoming Competition Season.
